Vespa Winter Ride - February 11,
2007: It
was about 25 degrees outside when we left the house for
a winter tour of Jamestown, the island that we live on
at the entrance to Narragansett Bay. It was going
to be a Vespa ride for both of us: Bruce on his GT60 and
me on my LX150, but our dog wanted to come too. He
refused to ride in the pet carrier, so Dorsey took him
in the Cinquecento (where they were both toasty-warm)
while Bruce buzzed along on his Vespa. Below we
paused to admire the view at Mackerel Cove. See
